
McKaylee E. Berg
Experience
McKaylee Berg joined Tomsche, Sonnesyn & Tomsche, P.A., as a Law Clerk in 2022. She started at the firm in her first year of law school at University of St. Thomas School of Law. McKaylee became a Certified Student Attorney in October 2022, so that she could gain more valuable experience in the courtroom alongside the firm’s supervising attorneys. Prior to joining the firm, McKaylee worked as a paralegal for more than two years at a local defense firm, assisting in the representation of clients in a wide range of criminal defense actions.
McKaylee graduated Summa Cum Laude with honors from Hamline University, majoring in Legal Studies and a minor in Political Science. After completing her bachelor’s degree at Hamline, McKaylee pursued law school at University of St. Thomas School of Law and graduated December 2024. During law school, McKaylee volunteered with Minnesota Justice Foundation’s “Street Law” program where law student volunteer to teach legal rights, responsibilities, and resources to middle and high school students.
